If you have shared personal information with any (internet) company, you have the right to have them delete your data!
We leave a lot of that lying around for companies to sell
Dating apps (your chat history, likes, kinks) - Tinder
Online shops (what you buy, where you live) - Amazon
Big tech (email, calendar, files, photos) - Apple, Google
Social media (what you find interesting/what you think) - X, Meta
If that makes you uncomfortable, there is the GDPR, which gives all EU subjects the right to - amongst others - be forgotten. Sadly, it's anything but easy to exercise that right because, well, companies really don't want to delete your juicy data. That's usually how they make money.
